EDU473 Problem Identification and Intervention in Counseling II

A continuation of Problem Identification and Intervention in Counseling I. Students are introduced to additional Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders-V categories, including: schizophrenia spectrum and other psychotic disorders, feeding and eating disorders, dissociative disorders, neurocognitive disorders, substance-related and addictive disorders, gender dysphoric disorder, and paraphilic disorders. A variety of interventions are considered and opportunities are provided to make diagnostic assessments and construct treatment plans through the use of confederate case clients.
